POPI Employee Course
All businesses are required by the POPIA Regulations to train their employees on the provisions of POPIA through training and awareness programmes.
Most Data Breaches arise because of human error and it is therefore essential for every employee in a company to have some form of basic privacy training. Employee training is therefore an essential part of your compliance journey.
This training course is a basic POPI course that has been designed for your company’s employees. The aim of this course is to give your employees a basic knowledge of POPIA and make them “privacy aware”.
Each employee that completes the online course will receive a certificate of completion, which can be used to evidence the steps your company has taken towards compliance.
If you have more than 10 employees that require training, we can offer you a group learning management training course.
TRAINING MODULES
There are 4 modules in this training course. The total training course should not take you more than 4 hours to complete, so you will only need 1 hour per day for 4 days.
At the end of the each module, you will need to complete a training assessment to move on to the next module. You will need to achieve 80% for each module’s assessment to move on to the next module. Each assessment can be taken as many times as you need to pass the module.
If for any reason you have started a module and are unable to complete it, don’t worry, when you log back into the course, it will pick up where you have left off. We don’t want you to waste valuable time.
At the end of the training you will receive a certificate of completion.
